GENERAL CONTEST RULES

Who Can Enter

1. Entrants must be residents of the State of Nevada and 18 years of age and older. KTUD-TV may require proof of age, residence, identification and/or social security number prior to delivering prize.

2. Employees of KTUD-TV, Las Vegas TV Partners LLC., its parents, subsidiaries, contest sponsors, affiliated companies, advertising and promotion agencies, any other Las Vegas area television stations and the immediate family members (i.e., spouses, parents, grandparents, children, grandchildren, and siblings) of each of the above are NOT eligible to enter and/or to win.

How To Enter/How To Win

1. No purchase is necessary to enter or win. Entry into contest is subject to specific contest rules.

3. Viewers can only win a KTUD-TV prize once every six months, unless otherwise specified in specific contest rules.

4. KTUD-TV is not responsible for any entries that are lost, stolen, misdirected or are illegible, including electronic entries that are misdirected or not received due to server, internet problems, non-authorized human intervention or situations beyond the control of KTUD-TV.

5. Entries received that are mutilated, tampered with, illegible, or from ineligible entrants will be void. Entries that are determined by Station Management to be fraudulent will be void and the person making such an entry barred from further participation in that contest. All entries become the property of KTUD-TV and will not be acknowledged or returned.

3. Prizes will be released to winners only. Winners are required to present a valid state photo ID and may also have to provide proof of social security number in order to pick up a prize. Additionally, ALL winners are required to sign a Winner’s Release relieving KTUD-TV, Las Vegas TV Partners LLC, its parents, subsidiaries, officers, directors, employees, agents and contest sponsors from any and all liability with respect to the receipt and/or use of the prize. Any person who refuses to sign the Release will forfeit the contest prize.

4. Station reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value for all contests and giveaways. Prizes are not redeemable for cash. No substitution, transfer or assignment of prizes awarded is allowed.

5. Prizes not claimed by date of usability shall be considered forfeited and will become property of KTUD-TV. Such prize may be disposed of at the discretion of Station Management.

6. Winners are responsible for paying all applicable local, county, state and federal taxes on prizes based on the estimated retail value of the prize, as set forth in the rules issued by KTUD-TV.

3. KTUD-TV is not responsible for and does not condone any side agreements made between entrants and any other person as a result of winning, using or reusing the stated prize.

4. KTUD-TV reserves the right to terminate or declare this contest null and void and rescind any contest awards if in its sole judgment, the rules or the integrity of this contest have been violated or compromised in any way, intentionally or unintentionally by any person whether or not a participant in this contest.

5. Winners are responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes and will receive a 1099 misc. form for tax purposes if their total prize winnings in one calendar year exceed $600.00. Winners are required to provide a valid social security number when winnings exceed $600.00

6. KTUD-TV management shall be the sole arbiters in all matters relating to the contest and the interpretation of contest rules. The decisions of KTUD-TV shall be final. Entry into station contests constitutes agreement by contestants to abide by these rules.

7. KTUD-TV reserves the right to disqualify or remove any contestant from further participation at its sole discretion.

8. KTUD-TV contests are subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations and are void where prohibited.

9. By entering the contest/sweepstakes, entrants release and hold harmless KTUD-TV, Las Vegas TV Partners LLC. and each of its respective parents, Divisions, Affiliates, Subsidiaries, Agents and Advertising Agencies (collectively Las Vegas TV Partners LLC.) from and against any and all losses, damages, rights, claims, and actions of any kind arising in whole or in part, Directly or Indirectly, from Acceptance, Possession, use, or misuse of any prize, and/or property damage, as well as claims based on publicity rights, defamation, and/or invasion of privacy.

In no event will Las Vegas TV Partners LLC. be responsible or liable for any damages or losses of any kind, including without limitation direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, arising out of any access to and/or use of the sweepstakes site, the downloading from and/or printing material downloaded from the sweepstakes site, the removal from the sweepstakes site of, or discontinuation of access to, any materials, or the acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of, or any harm resulting from the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of, or participation in, any prize awarded in connection with the sweepstakes. Without limiting the foregoing, the sweepstakes, all prizes, and all materials provided on or through the site are provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied, including without limitation the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
