1.      HOW TO ENTER

a.   The KLUC/KTUD “SIMPSONS” Watch Listen and Win sweepstakes

contest will begin on MAY 12, 2008 at 7 p.m. PST and end on MAY 16, 2008 at approximately 10 p.m. PST.

2. To participate in the contest, you may enter via the following method: Watch the SIMPSONS on KTUD, weekdays between 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. PST on KTUD Channel 25/Cox Cable channel 14 beginning MAY 12, 2008 through MAY 16, 2008 for the daily code words that will be displayed during each Simpsons show along with instructions to listen to KLUC later that evening from 10 p.m. through 11p.m. PST.  Each night following the Simpsons show, the 25^TH caller to call KLUC studios at 702-364-9898 after the cue to call is announced will have a chance to qualify for the grand prize drawing by giving the code words from each of the Simpsons shows earlier that evening. If the correct caller gives the correct code words, he or she will win a Simpsons prize pack and will qualify for the grand prize drawing (“Qualifier”).  If the caller gives the incorrect code words, the next caller will be taken and given the opportunity to answer correctly.  The process will repeat until the correct code words are given.  There will be a maximum of five (5) Qualifiers in this contest.

    

3. The Station is not responsible for telephone service outages, delays, busy signals, equipment malfunctions and any other technological difficulties that may prevent an individual from completing his/her telephone call.”

2.      ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS

a.      The contest is open to all KLUC listeners who are 18 years of age or older and who legally reside in Clark County and Nye County .  Employees of KLUC, (the “Station”), KTUD, their licensees, corporate parents, subsidiaries, and affiliates, advertising agencies, participating sponsors/promotional partners and other radio stations in the Las Vegas metropolitan area and the members of their immediate families and/or households are ineligible to participate or win.

b.      Only one winner per household is permitted in any Station contest.

3.      PRIZES

a.      Five (5) Qualifying Prizes:  Each qualifier will win a KTUD/ Simpsons prize pack containing:

b.      One (1) Grand Prize:  The grand prize winner will receive a gift certificate good for: Dinner for four (4) at the House of Blues Las Vegas and four (4) concert tickets to concert of their choosing at the House of Blues Las Vegas (subject to ticket availability and other restrictions [i.e.age]).  Total approxi mat e retail value of prize package:  $500.00

b.      All prizes or prize certificates may be picked up at the office of the Station at the address below.  The winner will forfeit any prize or prize certificate not claimed within 10 business days of winning.  In the event that a prize or prize certificate is mailed to the winner, it will be with the prior written consent of the winner and therefore, winner assumes the risk of its loss.  The Station is not responsible for the safe arrival of a prize or prize certificate

c.      There is no substitution, transfer, or cash equivalent for prizes, except that Sponsor may, at its sole discretion, substitute prizes of comparable value or cash.  The prizes are expressly limited to the item(s) listed above and do not include taxes, gratuities or any other expenses.  Other restrictions may apply.

4.                  WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION

a.      Decisions of the Station management with respect to the contest are final.

b.      Five (5) Qualifiers will be selected as set forth in Section 1b above.

c.      One (1) Grand prize winner will be randomly chosen from among all Qualifiers on May 19, 2008 at approximately 9:00 p.m. PST.

d.      Odds of becoming a qualifier depend upon the number and timing of eligible calls received with the correct code word.  Odds of winning the grand prize once qualified are 1 in 5.

e.      Listener need not listen or be present in order to win grand prize.  Winner will be contacted by phone by the night show approximately 9:01 p.m. on May 19, 2008 to award prize.  If the selected winner cannot be contacted within 10 minutes an alternate winner will be selected by random drawing from the remaining eligible qualifiers.

f.        Winners must execute and return any required Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability Prize Acceptance Form within ten (10) days of notification attempt or prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner may be chosen by random drawing from all remaining eligible qualifiers.

5.      CONDITIONS

a.      Payments of all federal, state and local taxes are solely the responsibility of the winners.  Winners may be required to sign an IRS Form W-9 or the equivalent.

b.      By participating in the contest, the winner or winners agree to have their name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest without additional financial or other compensation, and, where legal, to sign a publicity release confirming such consent prior to acceptance of the prize. 

c.      Prior to awarding any prize or prize certificate, the Station in its sole discretion may require contest winners (and their travel companions, if any) to sign a liability release, agreeing to hold the Station, its corporate licensee, its parent, subsidiary and affiliated corporations, and the officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation in the contest.

d.      The Station reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the contest, including the substitution of a prize or equivalent value, which will become effective upon announcement.  If due to circumstances beyond the control of the Station, any competition or prize-related event is delayed, rescheduled, postponed or cancelled, the Station reserves the right, but not the obligation, to cancel or modify the contest and shall not be required to award a substitute prize.

e.      Failure to comply with the contest rules may result in a contestant’s disqualification solely at the discretion of the Station.

f.        The Station is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the contest, or in the announcement of a prize.
